Herencia Forward Mentorship Program

This program pairs high school students and freshman in college with experienced Latino mentors. Mentors meet one-on-one with mentees to help them reach their educational goals and navigate the higher education process. This year-long program also includes workshops on resumé-building, writing personal statements, and financing college. 

Community Office Hours

Community Office hours occur from 10 am est to 12 pm est on every Saturday. All community members are welcome, including students, parents, and teachers. These meetings will take place one-on-one with one of our bilingual team members. Feel free to join and ask any question about college, the application process, or financing your education. Our team will be happy to assist you in any way possible and provide resources where available. To find the in-person location, check our instagram for updates. College Bootcamp

This full day annual event will consist of an intensive overview of the college experience, including academic expectations, time management strategies, financial literacy, campus resources, and career planning. Participants will engage in workshops, group discussions, and hands-on activities designed to help them complete their college applications and ultimately prepare them for a successful transition to college life. All high school students living in Indiana are welcome to register and attend. Lunch will be provided. Registration opens in March. 

Parent College Bootcamp

Open to parents and guardians of students in Indiana, this bootcamp will provide a comprehensive overview of the college process, including admissions timelines, financial aid and FAFSA completion, academic expectations, campus resources, and ways families can effectively support their students’ transition to college. Lunch will be provided. Registration opens in March.

The STU Scholarship provides financial support to help students meet a wide range of needs as they pursue higher education. Unlike traditional scholarships, these funds are awarded directly to students, allowing them the flexibility to use the support where it is needed most—whether for academic, personal, or everyday necessities. By offering this adaptable assistance, the STU Scholarship helps remove barriers that can stand in the way of student success.
